You can find more information on the speaker's site:
This class will cover the basics of object-oriented programming in Perl, using Moose for the examples. This session will explain what people mean when they talk about classes, objects, inheritance, attributes, and more.
The class will also show you how OO works in Perl 5, though we won't cover all of the gross bits. Instead, advanced concepts will be illustrated using Moose, an OO framework for Perl 5.
Please note that this is _not_ an introduction to Moose. It is aimed at people who are familiar with Perl syntax and want to learn what object-oriented programming is all about. If you already understand OO but want to learn about Moose, you probably want a different session.
