Almost every developer has to do maintenance work at some point, but not everyone enjoys it. This talk will cover some of the things I've learned from maintenance, both Perl-specific items and human-related, in the hope that software maintenance need not be soul sucking.
Topics to be covered include how to leverage tools for maintenance, communication and managing expectations, and small changes you can make that have a big impact.
