Long-time linux user and Perl software developer. Slackware is still my favorite distribution for personal use, but I after gaining experience with others (Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, debian) I have found debian great for getting things done in production.
I'm from Northern Michigan, but transplanted to Houston, TX to work for HostGator.
My first YAPC! Looking forward to the Perl 6 track.
